Chennai Potties Sarre

Black coat with tails

A few months ago I made this layer but until today I could not upload to the blog.

never had a coat with tails and was looking forward to the outcome. So I get to work.

For this I used a beautiful black crepe fabric with great fall and brightness (double wide). Much volume as I did want a seam in the back and took the opportunity to give all the desired length.
The layer has a queue of about 60 cm and cut more or less following this sketch.

To the hood I took the surplus of the pattern (wedge the bottom corner)

Uni
parts (cape and hood) with a single seam and took the opportunity to reinforce the entire interior perimeter of the neck with a satin ribbon, long enough to serve to tie in chest.

then finished off the rim once hand-woven Celtic two colors (blue and yellow gold) with the frame.

This is the result:

Embroidery Detail:

For if anyone is interested in the embroidery template post to this link where you download the podais at full resolution. It was a single so I have prepared with PS so that they are two symmetrical. template downloads.

This is a detail of the interior dress, long sleeve linen under his arm wide open and sewn with a green ribbon.

Hope you liked it. Leonor
